I believe in love, freedom and beauty. I have lived without each of them, and I know the difference.

I know fear, and I don't want it to decide my life for me.

What frightens me more is betraying myself: living according to someone else's idea of who I should be, or living in a cage, even a platinum one.

I need honesty, with people and with myself. This is how I choose to live and create, and it is where I find meaning: in making things that bring something real into a woman's life.

Things that give her pleasure, comfort, confidence, perhaps even freedom. I don't want to tell her who to be. She knows better than I do.
